Station Krishna: A Family Affair

Station Krishna is above all a family story. The restaurant was first run by a couple, then by cousins, and finally by brothers. Two bearded brothers, twins with an eight-year age difference!

The torch has been passed from one generation to the next, but the passion has remained the same: a passion for cuisine, chili peppers, spices, and the flavors of the Indian subcontinent.

Quality

All our dishes and sauces (without exception) are homemade. The spices are skillfully dosed, the chili peppers are mastered, and the recipes are designed for everyone: non-vegetarians, vegetarians, and vegans.

Identity & Authenticity

Our menu remains faithful to Indian gastronomy through the many regions we have selected for their culinary richness. At Station Krishna, we have a slight preference for the southern regions of India (coastal lands less known in France), and especially for Kerala. We love it for its very fragrant cuisine, its varied spices, and its very particular and atypical specialties.

Our goal is to make you travel, to take you straight to India from Paris. We are committed to the idea of sharing with you our passion for the gastronomy of this beautiful country that is India. And for that, the whole team will be able to advise you and accompany you during this trip.

Our whole story (if you like)

First opened in 1989 under the name Krishnaa Mahal, one street away from here, our restaurant moved to its current location in 1997. We therefore have more than two decades of experience and know-how in Indian gastronomy!

Originally inaugurated by two enthusiasts who brought with them culinary knowledge straight from the Indian subcontinent, Station Krishna was taken over in 2013 by the second generation of the same family. It has therefore remained over time a family restaurant with traditional cuisine where you will find the unmissable naans, biryanis, samosas and lassis.

It is also a canteen for the faithful, a refuge for the intimate, a cocoon cherished by the family... and above all a symbol of India in Paris.

Our setting may be too noisy for some and cozy for others. India is characterized precisely by both at the same time: the warmth and joy of living of the people despite the hubbub and agitation.

We offer you not only to discover Indian gastronomy but also to introduce you to our culture. Contemplate the authentic statues, the paintings, the newspapers and above all do not hesitate to ask us your questions!

Nirushan, Ajith, our chef Kannan as well as the whole team of Station Krishna have the great pleasure to serve you their specialties. Vegetarians or not, followers of strong chili or partisans of milder flavors, all are welcome!
